ARETE ACADEMY

PBL

The Arete academy is a program inside Neenah high school. Which covers the four main courses of English, science, math, social studies with four courses there's four courses there are 4 teachers with a a lager class then most classes with having 80 students. The Arete program offers a different type of learing called PBL (Project based learning). I have got the question if it's a special needs class but it is the complete opposite. As it's a class doing things other classes don't get to do as many other classes you wouldn't be writing raps for a throw down or going out roasting your opponents with facts while your both a person from the past trying to get as far as you can. No other class would let you a whole class period doing what you love in my case it was basketball history. As it's a different type of learning. Where you don't memorize facts instead you use those facts to create something and is inspired to go out of just a presentation. As they want to see you do what you love not just the information you learned. As from that love of doing that you will learn.
